《副词的原级、比较级和最高级》精品讲义
1.掌握副词的原级、比较级和最高级的基本构成及重点用法；
2.能在具体的语境中灵活运用副词的原级、比较级和最高级。
副词和形容词一样，也有比较级和最高级形式。但单音节词和少数双音节词可以用加词尾的方法构成比较级和最高级，双音节词和多音节词大多以加more和most的方法构成比较级和最高级。
一、比较级和最高级的构成
1）规则构成
副词的比较级和最高级的构成与形容词的比较级和最高级的构成、用法及读音规则完全一样。
2）不规则构成
二、比较级和最高级的用法
（一）原级的用法
1）肯定句中用“as+副词原形+as结构”
例句：I can’t type as fast asmy brother.
我打字不如我弟弟快。
例句：Comfort and prosperity have never enriched the world as much asadversity has.Out of pain and problems have come the sweetest songs,and the most gripping stories.
舒适与繁华能让世界更丰富，但还赶不上逆境的作用大；最甜美的歌曲和最扣人心弦的故事往往产生于痛苦和麻烦之中。
2）否定句中用“not as/so…as…”结构
例句：It doesn’t rain as/so frequently here as it does in my country.
这儿没有我们国家下雨频繁。
（二）比较级的用法
1）比较级的单独运用
例句：It’s great to be great,but it’s greater to be human.
成为伟人是伟大的，但是做一个真正的人更伟大。
例句：Will you please speak more slowly?
请讲慢一点，好吗？
2）“比较级+than”句式
这种句式可表达一方超过另一方的情况，也可表达一方不如另一方的情况。
例句：The car’s running less smoothly than it used to.
这辆汽车跑得没有过去平稳了。
3）比较级+and+比较级
这种句式用来表示一方的程度随着另一方的程度平型增长，“越……（就）越……”。
例句：Knowledge is like the spring water underground:the deeper you dig,the cleaner the water.
知识好像地下的泉水：掘得越深越清澈。
例句：The less you open your heart to others,the more your heart suffers.
你的心向别人敞开得越少，你的心承受的痛苦就越多。
（三）最高级的用法
最高级主要运用于“the+副词最高级+表示范围的短语或从句”结构。最高级前的定冠词the可省略。
例句：Benson talks (the) least and does (the) most in his class.
本森在班上说得最少，干得最多。
三、比较级和最高级修饰语
有时为了对比较级和最高级进行突出和强调，在其前或其后加上修饰语，可以使比较更突出和鲜明。
1）比较级修饰语
例句：Eleanor speaks Japanese a lot better than before.
爱丽诺日语说得比以前好多了。
例句：Could you please speak a little more slowly so I can follow you ?
你能否说得慢一点，以便我能跟上你？
常修饰比较级的词语或短语有：
Even甚至，更Still更Much更A little有点A lot很A bit有点Far更By far大大地A great deal大大地
2）最高级修饰语
例句：Sophia works the best by far in her factory.
索菲亚是她的工厂里工作最出色的。
例句：He runs almost the fastest in his class.
他几乎是全班跑得最快的。
常修饰最高级的词语或短语有：
(by) far大大地 Much很 Almost几乎 Nearly几乎
