Sloths live in trees. You can see many of them in the rainforests of Central and South America. They make their homes there. In their homes, they feel safe (安全的) and happy.
37
Sloths sleep for about 15 to 20 hours a day in trees. They also eat their favourite leaves and fruit there. Sloths don’t like to move much. Sometimes, they come down from the trees for only one thing — pooping (排便)!
38
Sloths have brown hair, but you always see them as green. That’s because there are some green algae (藻) on their hair. The algae make them look like green leaves on a tree.

Sloths look funny. Many people want to have one at home. But sloths are not good pets (宠物)! They have special (特殊的) needs. It’s important to let sloths be free and happy in the rainforests.
